Located in Phoenix, Arizona, Southwest Publishing has been in business since 1992, writing and publishing a successful travel guide to a beach destination on the Sea of Cortez also known as Rocky Point. The first edition of The Rocky Point Gringo Guide to Puerto Penasco, Mexico sold out in six months. The second edition of the Rocky Point Gringo Guide won the prestigious Arizona Book Publishing Association 1999 Glyph Award, Honorable Mention: Travel. The third and final edition of the Gringo Guide sold out worldwide. Southwest Publishing writes and publishes travel articles, which are distributed nationally.
